Our rustic log 5' swing built with a very stable 8' wide A-frame. We handcraft a dense naturally dried lodge pole pine. All cross pieces on the 5' swing are made of half logs, and the pieces are tenoned together for strength. The overall width for the swing including the armrests is 52", and a seating width of 48". The A-frame depth form the base of the legs is 64", and we use a 7-1/2" dia. log for the main overhead support. The lodge pole pine is skip peeled, which means we deliberately leave a bit of bark on the logs to give the set a rustic look. The swing and A-frame are finished with a cedar tinted stain to preserve the wood. The actually wood will be darker than the photos, as we took photos on a very bright day.
We ship this set by motor freight, shipping weight is approx. 270 lbs. Two people can easily assemble the swing and A-frame. Please allow for 3 weeks for delivery. We ship only within the Continental US - sorry we don't ship to Alaska, Hawaii nor outside the United States. Shipping is included in the playhouse price.
